Andstay: A Bold Display Font for Creative Campaigns

As a marketing designer, I’ve found that the right font can make or break a campaign’s visual identity. Andstay is one of those fonts that instantly elevates a design with its retro flair and confident presence. Whether you're crafting a seasonal sale graphic or designing a YouTube thumbnail, Andstay brings a unique energy to any project.

Andstay for Social Media Graphics and Instagram Posts

When working on an Instagram content series for a boutique brand, I turned to Andstay for the headline text on each post. Its bold, handwritten style gave the visuals a nostalgic yet modern feel that resonated with the target audience. The font’s strong character made it perfect for short captions, callouts, and branding elements without overwhelming the design.

One key consideration was how Andstay would look on mobile screens. With its thick strokes and dynamic flow, it remained legible even in smaller sizes. I paired it with a clean sans serif for subtext, creating a balanced hierarchy that kept the focus on the main message while maintaining visual interest.

Andstay for YouTube Thumbnails and Reels Covers

Designing YouTube thumbnails requires a quick visual hook, and Andstay delivered exactly that. For a video series about vintage fashion, I used Andstay as the primary title on each thumbnail. The font’s retro aesthetic aligned perfectly with the content, making the thumbnails stand out in a crowded feed.

On reels covers, Andstay worked well as a decorative title. It added personality without sacrificing clarity, especially when used in conjunction with bold colors and contrasting backgrounds. I made sure to test it on both light and dark themes to ensure it maintained its impact across different viewing environments.

Andstay for Digital Ads and Landing Page Headers

In a recent digital ad campaign for a local coffee shop, I used Andstay for the headline text in display ads and landing page headers. The font’s dynamic shape caught the eye immediately, reinforcing the brand’s playful and approachable vibe. It worked particularly well in headlines where a strong first impression was crucial.

I also tested Andstay on web banners and found that it performed well at larger sizes. However, I avoided using it for body text due to its intricate details, which could reduce readability in dense layouts. Instead, I used it for key messaging and brand labels, keeping the rest of the copy in a more traditional typeface.

Andstay for Email Banners and Promo Graphics

For an email promotion targeting a vintage clothing line, Andstay was the ideal choice for the subject line and header. Its bold, handwritten style added a sense of urgency and excitement, encouraging recipients to open the email. The font’s nostalgic appeal helped reinforce the brand’s identity and connect with the audience emotionally.

On promo graphics, Andstay excelled as a decorative element. I used it for sale announcements and event invitations, pairing it with simple icons and clean lines to maintain visual balance. The font’s versatility allowed it to adapt to different formats while keeping the overall design cohesive.

Andstay for Branding and Logo-Style Text

When working on a brand identity project, I considered Andstay for logo-style text. Its confident, dynamic shape made it suitable for logos that needed a retro, handcrafted feel. I experimented with different weights and alternates to find the best fit for the brand’s personality, ensuring the font remained distinctive yet professional.

One thing to note is that Andstay works best for short phrases rather than long text. It’s not ideal for full paragraphs or detailed descriptions, but as a display font, it shines in headlines, titles, and taglines. Its ability to convey nostalgia and strength makes it a great choice for brands looking to evoke a specific mood or era.
